Drabble Challenge #10 [Alternate]

Prompt: reflection

I am a reflection of you, and you are a reflection of me. Everything we have been, or have done for the other, shows in each of us. We are not the same people as when we first met, but more. I could not erase the part of myself you have given me even if I tried, nor would I want to.

Your gentle smile and calm quiet has enhanced me, as I hope my effervescence and optimism have enhanced you. We are better now than when apart. There is no longer a ‘you’ and a ‘me,’ but only ‘we.’
