Drabble Challenge #110

Prompt: neolexia (ennuiality)
Shadows move, except for the one that wonít.
They watch, the strangers with smiles that donít.
You know them, you see them, they wave and laugh, but you donít.
Their hands reach out, but yours wonít.
The cloud lives around your heart, heavy and dark.
Tears crawl down, lighting trails from your eyes to your heart.
Your fingers are thick, heavy, weighing your arms, and keeping you apart.
The pain is dull, except when you move and then you feel its mark.
You stand alone watching, the strangers with smiles that donít.
Shadows move, except for the one that wonít.
