“Is everyone’s suits working properly?” the guide’s voice echoed through their helmets as he walked around his group and examined their tanks and batteries.
“If it wasn’t how’d we know?” Diane whispered to her husband, Mark, clueless that everyone heard her.
“He’d see the air leaking out and he’d slap on a patch,” Mark answered.
“Today, you’ll experience something that only happens on the moon,” the guide said and pointed to the creeping darkness of the lunar night. “Nighttime on the moon, when the temperature drops from 250 F to -250 F in a matter of minutes.”
“Boring,” Diane sighed.
