Drabble Challenge #42 [Alternate]

Prompt: key

They were a small group, but what they lacked in numbers, they more than made up for with sheer hate and volume.

Day after day, they marched in protest, railing against the rampant sin that they saw everywhere around them, as well as those they blamed for enabling it. With one voice, they called out for God to rid the world of the worst of these abominations.

Hearing their prayers, God reached down and removed from the Earth that which was most objectionable, and in an instant the protesters - with their signs, their chants and their hate - were simply... gone.
