Ice Station Matt and Charlie

Matt and Charlie shoved and heaved against the closet door, slowly forcing it closed as the snow and ice and wind blew out of it into the office work area.

“Didn’t you check the calendar?” Charlie screamed as the ice pellets peppered his face.

“Yes!” Matt hollered as he planted his back on the door and shoved with all his weight and muscle.

“So, why’d you open the door?” Charlie yelled as a furry paw reached through the door.

“I wanted one of the good Bic pens,” Matt yelled back, “and I thought, hey, it’s July, what’s a little snow!”
