Matt and Charlie – Leap of Faith, Charlie's Story

“Matt, we have to jump,” Charlie shouted as he stood hat-less at the precipice.

“Not gonna do it,” Matt said as he looked over the edge at the churning water, far, far below.

“Are you insane!?” Charlie shouted as the wind whipped his hair around his face. “Those things will eat us!”

“Nope,” Matt replied as he put his back to the precipice and faced the screams and shouts coming from the trail. “I think we can take them.”

“No, we can’t,” Charlie said as he ran and shouldered Matt over the edge, dropping them into the watery abyss below.
