A Korean gentleman told me he could cut a hole in notebook paper big enough to walk through.
He folded the paper in half lengthwise. He cut straight across from the folded side, near the top, stopping before the edge of the other side. He then started cutting from that edge below the previous cut, and stopped before reaching the folded side.
He cut back and forth like this until the paper's bottom. He then cut the folded edge inside the top and bottom strips. Finally, he stretched out the paper. The hole was indeed large enough to walk through.
