Pazuzu carried him prey back to his craggy lair and tossed her over to the restraining pillars and attached her beside one of Gabriel’s low-level angels.
“Rhea has Tiamat’s ear!” the harpy screeched and spit as she struggled to free herself from the pillar.
“He won’t listen,” the angel said, only the pillar’s gripping power holding his broken body upright.
“We’re both Titans,” the harpy sobbed. “Why are you doing this?”
“Because I’m strong enough,” Pazuzu answered. “And humans die too easily. You will last much longer.” Pazuzu stuck a talon in the harpy’s feathered breast and watched it heal.
