Dust

"Why won't they leave us alone?" Tracy whimpered as they hid in the woods and watched the Nord Sky-Raiders torch their home and barn.

Sherry gently stroked the cage of frightened fairies as she answered, "Because dust allows their ships to fly, so dust is power."

"Why don't they just buy the dust from us?" she asked as she watched the flames devour her home.

"Because their gods tell them to be like wolves and take from the weak," her older sister replied.

"What do our gods say?" Sherry whispered.

Tracy said nothing as she glared death at her enemies.
