"It's too late, Iphitus," Hebe said as she shook her long dark tresses. "Your father Eurytus and your brothers brought their protest during the appropriate time period allowed and it was denied. You should have brought yours at the same time."
"I couldn't," the tall, curly-haired man protested. "I was dead!"
"Death is no excuse under the law," Hebe replied sternly. "And it's out of my hands now."
A loud joyous voice boomed over Olympus, "Now announcing the newest GOD, HERACLES!"
"You're out of time," Hebe said as she turned from the wrongly murdered man.
