Belford looked across the desk at Matt and Charlie and said, “Never thought I’d see you two again.”

“You mean because you fired us?” Matt said as he reclined back in his chair.

“Yes,” Belford said, “What was it you shouted at me that day?”

Matt laughed and said, “You can’t quit me, I'm fired!”

Belford guffawed and added, “When you left, you slammed the door on the way out after I ordered you not too.”

“So I opened and slammed it again, harder.”

“And then you came back in, got Charlie and slammed it again on the way out.”
