Drabble Challenge #10

Prompt: reflection

She has been as the moon, reflecting the light of the one who is her sun. Although the center of her universe has changed a time or two over the years, her reflective ability has never wavered.

Most of the time she is content in this role, happy to see her image through his eyes, but she occasionally wonders what she would look like through her own.

Is she like the moon, dark without the light of another? If so, is this wrong? The moon is just as real as the sun, even if she doesn’t provide her own light.
