Drabble Challenge #10
Prompt: reflection
I went to the park and walked, letting my thoughts wonder.
I thought about when I was a child, how I liked to walk in the rain.
About the day I brought home a flea infected dog,
With the pretense it had followed me.
The turquoise sky turned grey, the clouds filled with rain.
I’m so far from home...Oh no.
Well, too late. Here it is; I’m getting soaked.
The puddles of rain turned into small pools;
I skipped, ran, and jumped in.
Closed my eyes... and in my thoughts,
My whole body felt, it been thrown into fountains.
