Southern Culture on the Skids is one of the Triangle's greatest bands. They're a Rockabilly band that celebrates the white trash lifestyle on stage, dressing in baseball caps, coveralls, and roadside diner waitress outfits while playing boogie woogie music you can't help but dance to.
One of their signature numbers is an innuendo-filled song called "Eight Piece Box." It's all about a guy who takes his date out to a secluded spot to have a romp and eat chicken. When they perform this song live, they'll invite girls onstage, then give them chicken legs to eat in a provocative manner.
