“The world is full of danger! 'Indoor-outdoor cats’ don’t live as long!” you decry...and of course you’re right. Our disagreement isn't one of consequences--but of values. You revere safety; I, living Life to the fullest. I'm convinced that nothing, *nothing* I can offer them, can ever compare to what they own by birthright when they step outside that door. I’ll strive to make it safer--but LIFE is inherently unsafe. It’s still worth having.
Above all, I want them to experience adventure and love...and go out knowing this world DID hold something meaningful for them, after all.
