Linda leaned back against the high-backed seat as the train left the station. "I'm so glad that's over," she sighed, as Roddy draped his arm over her shoulder. "It was wonderful meeting your friends... and your family." She rolled her eyes heavenward, causing her companion to lean over and place a gentle kiss on her cheek.
"I feel the same, Lin," he agreed. "I enjoyed meeting everyone back in Iowa too, but I think for now..." He pulled her close and kissed her again, much more passionately this time, before continuing, "I've had enough of sharing you with our families."
