Drabble Challenge #116

Prompt: present

part 4 of the Wilder Investigations series: A Different Kind of Zombie Apocalypse

“What were the locations and time between the last two reported sightings?”

“Fenton Street was last and Barton Avenue before that, about ten minutes apart. Why?”

“If we can determine the direction and speed of that zombie mosquito, we can catch it and stop the attacks.”

“Good thinking, but how are we going to catch it? And what about the dogs and cats that it’s bitten and are heading toward us?”

“There. I’ve calculated it will reach Hudson Boulevard soon. You grab the portable vacuum cleaner. I have an idea for a little present we can give those zombies. Hurry!”
