Drabble Challenge #121

Prompt: drive

How did I end up here?

The distances we could travel have always been limited by how fast we could go. We walked, then rode, the drove, then flew and then warped our way past every barrier. The speed of light held us back for a long time... until we learned to fold space itself.

But even that's not sufficient to help us cross the mind-boggling distances between galaxies. The very laws of physics make it impossible.

So, with a press of a button, I rewrote the fundamental laws of the universe, and now I'm 3 million light years away.
