One night, watching television, I heard the message: "We haven't forgotten you. We want to bring you Home." No words. Just music and colours, but I understood perfectly -- my true language.
I had to get a message back to them!
"Don't forget your meds, sweetie."
"Okay, Mum." I took my pills.
Within minutes, I no longer heard the message. A few minutes after that, I didn't even remember there had been a message.
I watched a little longer, even though now I only heard what my ears could hear, then went to bed, and to glorious unremembered dreams of Home.
