Drabble Challenge #20

Prompt: clown

part 1 of the series: To Clown or Clown Not
related to Wilder Investigations

Charlie stood over the mangled, bloody corpse of the recently decapitated demon-clown. From the corner of his eye, he watched as Matt repeatedly spun and slammed the fang-filled clown head against the now dented industrial freezers over and over again. Charlie poked the body, carefully avoiding the taloned fingers as he wondered why Matt wasn't screaming. Charlie moved aside as Matt stumbled over to him, with the battered head gripped in his fist by its gunky, slimy, orange hair.

"Coulrophobia is the irrational fear of clowns," Charlie said with a shudder.

"Not so irrational if you ask me," Matt answered.
