NaNoWriMo 2008 is at hand – 50,000 words written in just thirty days.
That’s 1667 – well actually, 1666.66666666… — words each day.
If one gets busy, gets sick, or simply goofs off for a day, that’s 3,333 words the next day to catch up.
If such a mishap occurs two days in a row it necessitates 5,000 words the third day, (that’s one tenth of the total because three days are one tenth the allotted time).
If one were to miss a whole week, that’s 11,665 words, and two weeks would be 23,331 words…
But am I panicking? NO WAY!!!
Go NaNoers!!!
