Shadow

I sit by the grave remembering the good times we had together.
He was the best friend I had ever had!

He was way too young to die.
He still had a long life ahead of him!

Tears come down my face as I think about the tragic way he died.
It just isn't fair!

The sad reality of it all is that the drunk driver who hit him will never serve any time for his crime.
A small fine is not a fair price to pay for the loss of a life.

I will never forget my dog, Shadow!
