Drabble Challenge #4

Prompt: out of time

Things come to pass because things must come - - to pass. The beauty of existence is in its very fleetingness. A precious moment of being.

If I seem unconcerned for you, if the passing of a current life force to another form does not invoke in me the same sense of loss, then please, be not offended. It is not that I do not know pain, for she is my friend. It is only that I fully embrace the existence when it is before me, bringing it within, forever.

When connected to timelessness, there is no need for mourning.
