Just to be safe, I folded Spooky gently and placed her inside my bag.
"Let’s go home, shall we?" my companion asked, offering his arm.
"Yes, it’s been quite a day…" I sighed.
We made it back to our Square, and into our house, without incident. I went directly to my bedroom and placed Spooky back on my bedpost.
