"A little nervous."

"There's no need to be. This is a routine procedure."

"I'm not worried about the procedure. I'm afraid of what you might find."

"Whatever we find, at least you'll know."

"I'm not sure I want to."

"Having second thoughts?"

"No, not really. I'm just..."

"Nervous."

"Yeah."

"Don't worry. Everything'll be okay."

"What if you find something... awful?"

"Even if we do, I still think you'll be better off knowing."

"I suppose."

"Are you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

With the flip of a switch, a lifetime of repressed memories came flooding back.
