"Don't you think it's time we got rid of that old thing?"

"It's been in my family for years."

"Yes, but it's also falling apart. It's noisy; it breaks down all the time... and I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to smell like that."

"It's got character."

"But the maintenance cost is so high! We're spending a fortune just to keep it going."
