Drabble Challenge #90 [Alternate]

Prompt: shangri-la
From the time before she could remember
It had called
The call of the wild
Speaking not to an Inner Child
But a bringer of childhood
In fact
She was born into action towards it
With the depth of a passion
That one can only feel
For the mate of One’s soul
It was not a thing that grew
No
It was born into her
Togetherness wrought
Before the existence of either
The birth of the Earth’s North American Desert
Flung the other out of her mother’s womb
Timelessly connected as placeholders
One for the other:
Living Being--Breathing Planet
