What Could Go Wrong

Charlie reached over and pinched and twisted Matt’s arm.

“I could be upstairs reading rare copies of books and treaties and learning from of history’s greatest thinkers,” Charlie hissed with anger.

“Stop before I stick your nose in zombie goo,” Matt replied as he and Charlie hid behind a dusty bookcase in the library’s basement.

“It’s just one zombie, what could go wrong,” Charlie spat.

“It could be controlled by a ghoul,” Matt whispered back.

“It could be controlled by a ghoul,” Charlie echoed back. “I hate it when you say what I’m going to say before I say it.”
