Drabble Challenge #97

Prompt: believe

part 3 of the Wilder Investigations series: Another Day At The Office

“I don’t believe you.”

“What’s not to believe?”

“In two hours you organized all the files, picked up the junk you’ve left laying around, and vacuumed the carpet? That’s what’s not to believe.”

“Why do you keep underestimating me? I can do a whole lot more than you realize sometimes.”

“That remains to be seen,” as he opened the door and looked around. “Wow, this really is amazing. It’s just as you described it.”

“See, I told you.”

Just then the supply closet door burst open, scattering files and other assorted items across the room.

“Now THAT I can believe.”
