"I did not expect that to work!" Charlie exclaimed.

Matt stepped away from the violently shaking box, "So, how do we kill it?"

"You don't understand. I really didn't expect that to work."

"But you said you were sure that this mystical box of yours would hold it!"

"It will," Charlie nodded, "But I wasn't so sure about your idea for how to lure it inside. I just assumed we'd fail again, run away screaming, and then we'd have to come up with a new plan."

Matt frowned. "So you..."

"--haven't quite worked out what to do next," Charlie admitted.
