Drabble Challenge #102

Prompt: love

Ann stomped around her apartment in frustration. Her husband should have been home by now. The big baboon could be so insensitive!

To think, HE was the one who literally hauled her away from her glamorous life, and now expected her to stay while he was off gallivanting. She was considering packing and leaving when she felt the floor shake.

She heard loud, thumping noises, and the floor shook more. The thumping and shaking got worse until she saw him outside the living room window, holding a familiar banana tree.

"Oh darling," she told King Kong. "You remembered our anniversary!"
