The auburn-haired woman was standing at the water's edge, pulling a filmy-looking, dark purple garment over her head. As Jonathan watched the fabric slide down the curves of her body he felt her eyes upon him in much the same appraising manner. He looked away quickly, overcome by embarrassment.
"Oh, I'm sorry," he managed to say, before he heard her tinkling laugh.
He looked up again and their eyes met for the first time. They're so green! was his first thought. Mystical somehow... they draw me into their depths...
He saw nothing but those eyes as she walked toward him.
