“Good morning students,” the teacher says to her junior writing class.
“Good morning Ms. Fordwick,” the students respond in unison.
“As you remember, today is the day of the big test. This test will count as one third of your grade. For many of you, this will decide if you continue into Advanced Writing 101.
“For your final exam, you are to write a drabble. Your drabble must be exactly 100 words in length, not including the title. The text must include these words: convincing, roof, sink, tread, postcard, headache, dark, sequence, hurting, and respect.
“Good luck! You may begin!”
