Drabble Challenge #115

Prompt: twisted

Such a bittersweet day, for this old wolf.

All of these years, it's been, "Stay out of his pen! Look at those teeth, he might bite!"

YOU have teeth..do you bite?

Indisciminately?

I've given paw, play-bowed, smiled, danced, wagged my tail low, and made soft eyes and "airplane ears" at you; but all of these years, you've never rubbed those ears--presuming that, were I capable of hurting you in any way, I would.

Now, my stomach has twisted; I'm too weak and in pain to move, and soon I'll cross the veil...

NOW, you finally give me love.
