When we met we thought we were so much alike. We had many things in common, and believed that our life together it would be a harmonious, mutually satisfying one.
We were so naïve…
We did find much of what we expected in each other, and took great joy in those discoveries, but there were also troubling signs from the start.
We don’t seem to want the same things anymore. Had we ever? Has one, or maybe both, of us changed since our intense beginning?
How do we bridge the chasm between passion and peace?
How do we find resolution?
