What I hate (but I love him anyway)

I hate being screamed and yelled at.

I hate being cursed at and called bad names.

I hate when he refuses to give me food and sends me to bed hungry.

I hate when he locks me up in my room and won't let me out for hours, sometimes days.

I hate when he hits me.

I hate when he kicks me!

I hate the bruises and the broken bones!

I hate even more when he ignores me. I love him so much!

"Sometimes I even hate being alive…" The dog thinks to himself as he drifts off to sleep.
