"Liana! Varian!" Jonathan protested, overcome with protectiveness and apprehension that Ophelia might not be accepted into their party. He unconsciously drew her to him and was instantly overcome by her peaceful spirit.
Do not worry, Jonathan, her mind whispered. She looked boldly, yet kindly, at the others. "I cannot read anyone�s thoughts�" Her gaze turned back to the man beside her. "Only Jonathan�s."
"And I can also read hers!" he interjected.
