The Outcome

As I sit here at home, reflecting on the days gone by, I am thankful that the doctors ruled out any heart problems. My arms are sore from all of the blood tests, and while my legs still hurt and are swollen, I believe the back pain from all the time spent on the stretchers is now my worst complaint. It has been a rough five days in the hospital but at least I know now that what I had was a bad case of diverticulitis and cellulitis. My high fever is gone and maybe I am on the mend!
