Uh oh...not again.
Most dogs love the leash. This young pit bull terrier? Not so much. The leash meant that it was time to meet another dog.
His life wasn’t so bad, overall. He was one of the lucky ones. His little boy had loved him a lot. The other-dog encounters, now--those were bad times, but there were only a few, and the big man was always proud of him when he grabbed them and made them stop biting.
Maybe this dog would stop biting, too.
As the trunk lid closed, the light faded out on him...forever.
