The Dog and the Butterfly

“What a beautiful butterfly!” Betty's husband said, as he sat down in his easy chair and put his feet up.

“Thanks. I've been working on it for quite some time now.”

“I know you have, and you're doin' such a wonderful job. I love the dog it's sittin' on too.”

“You are too kind,” Betty smiled, as she continued working on her craft.

“No, really, I mean it! Some of the best sewin' I have ever seen.”

“It isn't really sewing, dear. It's actually called embroidering.”

“I don't care at all what it's called. I still think it's some superstition.”
