I didn’t mean to. How was I to know that fish couldn’t eat multivitamins? How was I to know that thirty goldfish would clog the toilet? How was I to know that Mr. Gibson downstairs would mistake the water pouring down his wall as a sign from God? How was I to know that his elated running into the street would cause a twelve-car pile up? How was I to know that the third car in that pile up, the one containing the only copy of the true meaning of life, would burst into flames? I didn’t mean to.
