“Hello everyone,” I begin. “My name is Mark and I'm an idiot”
Everyone welcomes me to the group and acknowledges that I have something to say.
“Two days ago, I was watching a zombie movie on the tube, when suddenly there was a pounding on my door. Thinking it was a zombie, I grabbed the metal thermos I was drinking out of, ran to the door, opened it, and beat the intruder to death. I then looked down and realized that it was only Deneen, whom I had invited to watch the movie with me!”
“Understandable mistake,” Bubba says comfortingly.
