Drabble Challenge #17

Prompt: quiver

It was the one and only thing about her that completely confused and bothered him. No matter how hard he tried, she never showed emotion. It seemed as though her bones were steel girders while her muscles and organs, (especially the heart) were solid titanium. Her voice was as cool and as distant as it might have been had she been reading the weather report. “Michael, you knew when we started this that I could never fully be available to you.” He slid his fingers over the cold titanium band in his pocket as his lower lip began to quiver.
