The clock in the dash read forty two minutes after the hour. Ian looked at the long string of cars in front of him and cursed. He’d been stuck in the same spot for almost an hour. He’d finished the paper, his coffee and listened to the same pod cast three times, before losing his temper and venturing out of the car. He was stunned to find the car in front of his completely empty. He took off at a quick jog, to find all of the cars empty. Panting, he closed his eyes and tried hard not to panic.
