Mint Tea

Time at MeMother's house was always a fun time. One of my fondest memories, is of fresh mint tea. The thought of it causes me to enter a state of euphoria.

Home brewed tea, made with just enough sugar, but not too much, and stored in the refrigerator overnight to make sure it was very cold. A tall glass, couldn't be plastic, with a lot of ice. A fresh piece of sweet-smelling mint, picked straight from the garden. Only the freshest, light green leaves from the tip of the plant would do. Pour the tea, add the mint and Ooooohhhh!!!!!
