Out of Control

They jerk,
kick,
spasm,
and tremble,
I try to control it, yet it still gets much worse!

I let them jerk,
kick,
spasm,
and tremble,
I let them have control, yet it still gets much worse!

It runs up my legs,
reaches my insides,
shoots down my arms,
and my body grows restless,
Again I try to control it, yet it still gets much worse!

Why must this be,
Have I done something wrong,
Is this my punishment
Will it ever stop
I cry silent screams as I relinquish control, yet it still gets much worse!
