If I Only Had A Clue

I see him suffer and I’d help if I could
It breaks my heart to see him this way
So sad and lost,
Feeling hopeless and helpless
Like there’s nothing in life for him

I’d put my arms around him
I’d hold him close to me,
Kiss his hair
Tell him it’ll be all right
Surrounding him with my love

I already do all that though
I do all I can think of
But it’s no help
He isn’t comforted by my comfort

Is there a something I don’t know
That would help him?

If only I had a clue…
