Drabble Challenge #40
Prompt: dreams
Sleep comes along.
A restless sleep,
But sleep nonetheless.
The dreams begin,
Like a whirlwind they roar.
First beauty turns into darkness-
and then they get worse.
The people in pain,
They wander to and fro.
I know who they are and I want to help,
But I know not how.
I am much like them,
I'm asleep but in pain.
I'm in the mist of the storm,
The storm of dreams that never ends.
There is pain in my sleep,
Pain from worries and fear.
I cry out for help,
But all I get in return are more dreams.
