Unwarranted Concern

“Thank you for calling tech support. How may I help you?”

“I keep hearing this beeping noise on my electronic devices.”

“Can you please be a little more specific?”

“I turned on my laptop the other day and I heard a loud beeping sound.”

“Alright, where else have you heard it?” tech support asked.

“I head it when I was watching a video through my Roku box,” I responded.

“Now we're getting some where. Where else?”

“My iPod also beeps the same way!”

“Sir, this is totally normal,” tech support assured me.

“Well, what is it?”

“It's just your LAN-dinging.”
