Drabble Challenge #5

Prompt: passages

I've ALWAYS wanted to walk across the United States—from coast to coast.

I have to admit, though, that I probably would never have seen so many wonders, were it not for the major ways in which technology has improved our travel...

So, dear Iron Horse, dear Automobile: thanks a million. You gave me the opportunity to see so much of our world. Every ticket sold, made the country more accessible to us all. A bit of extra noise is a small price to pay.

And, Airplanes--with your express flights to anywhere, in mere hours?

You are the GREATEST.
